You ask for photos of 285s and then you say 275s in the last sentence? So which do you want?

Here's mine, bone stock, no lift, with new BFG 285/75R16 AT tires.

(And yes, before anyone asks, it's a 1997 CE with new 1995 center caps. I thought they went better with the black pearl emblems.)

There are a million here on 285's. Check my pics page if you need to see some more.

275 revos bone stock to compare. I think I'll be unhappy when I install my 2.5 " lift this month.

850 front 860 rear right? im new to these number things with springs, i always dealth with 2" 3" coils etc... without the front bumper was the front higher much? or did you add a spacer to the front after installing a front bumper?

reason i ask is because front bumpers are heavy and i have seen 3" lifts with front sagging because of the front bumper, so im trying to see how to avoid the front sag. plus i think 3" would be to tall, and 2.75 seems perfect with 285s (are yours 285 75?)

Here are 285's on OME 861/862 springs (1" lift), which now have been replaced by OME 850/860's (2.5" lift)

The 850s are the Heavy Lift FR coils (just 20mm longer than the 851 FR mediums). and the 860s are medium lift for the RR. The front dropped about .50" after I put the ARB and the M12K (installed after lift). I started with this combo b/c I did not want too much front rake (AKA Stinkbug).

My current measurements are as follows:
FR--22.5" from center of hub to bottom of fender flare (measuring straight up)
RR--23.25" from center of hub to bottom of fender flare (measuring straight up)

My pre-lift measurements were about 2.50" lower in the FR and 2.75" in the RR.

The following pictures show (1) stock, (2) Lift w/o ARB, M12K and Sliders), and (3) Lift with ARB, M12K and Sliders.

Next up will be 315's and Slee's 4" Kit.

There are a ton of threads on this subject. This is a good one (just note the 850s are heavies and 851 are Mediums) https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/44674-dont-swap-med-heavy-oem-springs.html

Have Fun. :flipoff2:

Side note on my above pic I should have mentioned like josharre2000 did. I measure at 21.5" FR, and 23" RR. No weight, no spare (on the truck when measured).

josharre2000,

What's CC do you use? And did you change your CC setup after you put ARB and 12K on?

I want the same setup but will use the lighter bumper and winch.
Thanks.

Here are a couple older pics of my rig running OME 850/860 and 285/75 R16 Yokohama Geolandar AT II's.

This is 850/860 combo (heavy front / medium rear) with an ARB and a T-Max 10000lb winch in the front and approx. 200lb drawer system (drawers + tools total) in the rear. As you can see it sits pretty level.

I pressed in the yellow OME bushings. They work great! Not much difference after I installed the bumper and M12K. I would never run another 80 without Castor correction, especially if the :princess: is going to drive it.
