Thanks for the conversation. I found some more articles and have been reading. I need to remember that I should keep this thing pretty mild, yet I can't help but want to start cutting and welding. Force of habit.

The down side to the 80 front end is the radius arm set up
It reaches a certain point and will bind and not flex anymore, but inturn you get good road manners
Whether you wrench on your rig or not, bolt on castor correction is the way to go.
I wrench and weld on all my junk and the wifes junk and the neighbors junk by the way

Take a look at the percentage of '8o owners who really wrench on their rigs (putting LEDS in for the dome lights is not wrenching ).

you're right I used a BFH to put mine in..... now they don't work

Don't you know you have to use the dealer only SST... or if you can get Toyota to issue the special waiver then you can use the Ingersol Rand Titanium half inch impact driver.

But then you have to use the screw set sold only by Costalot Urban Specialties.

man, and I just use an old beat up brass hammer that is probably 50 years old, maybe that is why all this PM baseline stuff takes me so long

that or a nice short handle 5 pounder when something needs just a bit more encouragement
