Awesome!
Kurt I can't wait to see what you come up with. We have a non-ahc truck coming for a build as well.
Got a set of wheels made for it a few months ago.
It’s the right color. My dealer was clueless about availability when I asked this weekWell, I pulled the trigger, not an F-sport but dealership said (not saying this is truth or not, but that getting the f-spot could be 1-1.5yrs).
I am gonna have to do something to the grill, anyone know if you can swap grills? I heard on some of the sedans from Lexus that it is a direct swap. Maybe I will get used to it, but really prefer black.
Anyway, it is a “luxury” trim with AHC at MSRP.

It doesn’t look as crazy weird in these photos as others photos I have seen, who knows, maybe I will be converted.I bet it would be whole front cap swap.
Lights, grille, and bumper cover
Ya, that might be the safest and easiest bet.Seriously- I’d order another grill - the exact same one that comes with your new LX and have it coated (paint?) satin black.
If it doesn’t turn out how you want, not a disaster. Just a few hundred bucks in the hole.
Used 2022 with 78 miles for $189K in Houston if you are in the market...

Could have listed for $208KIn March, the Lexus dealer in El Paso told me they could get me one in June for $10K over sticker. Since I'm in no hurry, I passed. Sounds like I should have taken them up just to capture some arb.
Sorry but everything that makes an LC or LX special is irrelevant at this price and for this use case. For this money I’d buy a Range Rover Autobiography L, even with the downsides. Much nicer vehicle even with it’s many reliability issues. But lets face it, neither of these ever leave the city limits unless it’s a short run to the lake house.
Try somewhere else! Or find someone who has one in stock. Don’t give up man keep going.I have completely given up on getting our LX600. A couple months ago we were told by an in-state Lexus dealer that they had to give back our deposit due to the fact that they didn’t think the car we ordered would show up until the end of the year. They told us that we would not lose our place in line.
2 months later, they won’t return phone calls. I suspect that giving back the deposit was their way of getting out of their obligation to me. The promise of not losing our place in line? I’m struggling to find a positive spin on that, it strikes me as straight up dishonesty… but time will tell.
I guess that’s one more LX600 for the rest of you! It’s not like we are suffering in our GX anyhow.
If you didn’t know, there is a global supply chain issue affecting all manufacturers. You need to understand where the dealer is coming from and the fact that they probably have 0 pull in the Toyota umbrella.I have completely given up on getting our LX600. Oh really, there’s a supply chain problem in the automotive world? This is the first I’ve heard of it.If you didn’t know, there is a global supply chain issue affecting all manufacturers. Meh. There’s a line of people who will buy ahead of someone whose sad they didn’t get a call. Dealers know this.Oh really, there’s a supply chain problem in the automotive world? This is the first I’ve heard of it.
Sarcasm aside, I’m talking about decency and customer service. A call can be returned, no matter how many microchips are on back order. Lexus dealers are supposed to be a step above, I would think that returning a phone call and an email would be the decent thing to do to preserve customer service standards. Even if it’s just to say, “We don’t know anything, but yes, you still have your place in line”.
