if you have 'em, would you be kind enough to measure the overall width (widest point across). No hurry.
Curious what the difference would be with my 33s on 16x7. At 45 psi I measured 11" off the truck.
TIA
Eric
oh, and btw, I just stuffed one of mine way up in the well, about 1" or 2 from the top apparently, and all looked fine on the side. I imagine it was stopped by the bumper.

geeez, shouldn't have said "no hurry" I guess eh? :D

Had them on mine, no rubbing, I took them off road but nothing too extreme. I just sold the 80 two weeks ago, so I can't measure for you, you can just go to tirerack.com and look up the tire, they have actual dimensions listed on the "specs" page.

EDIT: mine were mounted on stock 80 series wheels

e - you'd be better off not comparing your measurements to someone elses truck. A lot could impact it such as additional weight from cargo mods etc.

uh? if it's 45 psi, that's all you need to know regardless of what the load is, and outside the near contact area the shape should be affected only by the pressure and rim width.

Eric,

According to the Goodyear website, 285/75-16 MT/R's on a 8" width wheel has a section width of 11.2"

Well, do you want to know section width, or tread width. Section width of my Firestone's is 11.5", tread width is 9.8".
