well, I got myself a NOS M105 coupler ring. Dang that thing is big. 20+lbs of steel.
If that helps some folks later on, below are the various parts numbers depending on the manufacturer. The NSN is of course the same for all. Note that the older superseded NSN number based on the NIIN is still used in various places. Note the various parts numbers (e.g. 7354577 etc), those are cast or stamped on the lunette shank and help with IDing the part and its manufacturer.

The dimensions given by TobiasinLA above appear to match what I have. I have added a pic similar to that of the 101 above to help folks with identification.

Note also that the 1 1/8"x16 nut is an odd thread and somewhat hard to find in OEM form (kindly let me know if you have a good source), but appears to be a standard size for semi trucks wheels if you need one in a pinch (but won't be castellated of course).

Well, here are some pics. It has the landing leg, which could be removed for shipping. Dunno.

Looks like you have the M101A1 setup. Did you throw a tape measure on it yet? (Just the taper would tell.) Also though the 105's had dolly wheels, but not sure if they all did.

Does the drawbar ( or "mating female receiver") have any casting numbers on it?

That's a M101 A1 lunette, you are right the 105, has wheels on the landing leg. Some had one big wheel and others had two smaller wheels.

The measurement from the stop to the end of the threads is 6 1/4" and the casting on the female part is 7339350 with MT. 5 underneath.

Looks like M101A1
