I'm very jealous of your garage. The actual garage.
I've been researching full-size trucks. It pains me to report... the Tundra is not loved by the magazines/reviewers. Worse... the 2019, 2020 Ram gets great reviews - subjective and objective. Above average reliability, better than Ford, Chevy/GM and Toyota in safety... a damn dodge.
I mean, it does look a little like a 2016+ 200 Series (that grille, lights)

Yep, I drove all the new half tons. The Ram was the best, IMO. The tundra was the second. The Ford third and the GM 4th. My 2 cents, if you are interested:
- The new Ram interior lives up to the hype. It also drives the best of the 4. Reliability? Im not so sure about that. The previous EcoDiesel (I'd love an efficient diesel) has a myriad of problems and the 5.7 has big issues with its lifters. Rams always had a rep for their interiors not wearing well, so I am interested to see how it plays out. BUT if I was buying new with a warranty, I'd get the Ram.
- Even though the Tundra is old, its still a Toyota. Very few inherent issues, the interior isnt as "nice" and full of tech, but its the most solid of the three. I also liked how it drove second best.
-GM and Ford were pretty close. The GM interior, IMO, is horrible. A Denali is 70k and the interior is a joke. The Ford seemed to have better fit and finish, but it still wasnt that nice. Neither drove as well as the Ram or Tundra. I like the idea of the ecodiesel, and I'm not sure if the 2019/20's are better, but the earlier ones people didnt like towing with them because of shift points in the transmission.
TBH - I dont want to buy brand new. So I think the Tundra is the best choice for me as a result.
I've got a 100 and 19 Tundra pro. Jusy put some MT tires on the Tundra.... I'm about 80% sure I'm going to ttade my Tundra for a 19 or 20 200....if that means anything to you.
Step dad has a Dodge if I need a truck.

NIce man. But I dont want a 200. They are cool and all, but if I bought another SUV it would be a Cayenne.
200K miles, drives like new, not a single drop of any fluid leaking, idles quiet like a mouse, i drive it hard too. That 5.7L in a lighter body can really move. You can pick up these for cheap these days, like under 10 grand.
Tundra's seem to be cheaper on the east coast or something - I thought I'd be able to get a higher mileage crew cab (I want 4 doors) for a reasonable price, but its impossible. Great looking truck btw. Those headlights look really good!
