Vette,

Tell me more about this Carson run. Where does it start? My wife really likes hot springs and I'd like to take her there.

Regards

Alvaro

Alvaro, here is a link to Barney Riley. I'd like to do it also! It's close to y Parents house, but I've never gone to try it yet.

Let's do it!

I'm game, just let me know in advance. Also if we could do it on a Sunday that would be great, I have to work on Saturdays.

Thanks,
Jack

Sundays are good. I work too on Sat.

The hill climb terrain looks similar to a few of the roads in Death Valley!

I'm game, Sat or Sun works for me!

Barney Riley looks like a fun one to me- I'm in (schedule permitting).

right on fellas, there is still snow right now, which makes it even more fun, but next month should be good. it is a fun run. it basicly starts just east of markleeville off of hwy 89. i will definitely post up when i head out so i'll keep in touch.

Cool, more people for the run. Look foreward to giving the cruiser some much needed exercise.:D

Hmmm, I start my internship june 19th so I think that would work. So we could all meet up early on sunday and make a day out of it? How long does it take to run that trail?

How about Sunday June 18 for Barney Riley? Lets pick a date.

Ummm, I don't wan't to ruin a perfectly good date for wheelin' except June 18 is Father's Day!!

Oops, forgot about father's day. I am still game for that date, but it might not work well for some folks. Would the day before (Saturday the 17th) be better?

Does anyone know how long we should plan on to do Barney Riley? (on whatever date ends up being selected)
Is it better for a day trip or overnight camp?

It's a day trip for sure. I might be able to make it on the 17th but looks like not many guys can do saturdays but only sundays (some of us are still good old church going people so sundays are out for me ;) ).

Why not just do it the following weekend, on the 25th?

Dang. That would involve a trip into and/or through Markleeville.

Sorry. I'm gonna have to pass. I don't do Markleeville.

Markleeville:confused: I have never heard of this place. Is it full of crackheads or something?
