Did any year model FJ40 ever have a recall notice issued for any reason? Just curious.

I " Recall " having about 12 of them since 1990 age 16 ...........

No, that was before safety regulations caused us to turn into a bunch of pansies. The gas tank was under the passenger seat for crying out loud. This was an era when men were men and women were women. When even chimpanzees (literally has to be a picture somewhere) could drive a stick shift. Ah, the good old days…….

I do not know if there were any recalls but I am sure there were some safety issues that went unresolved.

I remember seeing something on the "cruiser lean" , issue. Not really safety but an issue that needed addressing.
