I would not do Deer Valley alone this time of year with that forcast.

May be if you were a vet to that trail,,,,,,

Still would be iffy.

Now if you went hwy 88 side blue lakes and went to the river that wouldnt be that bad.
There will probally be at least 1 other rig out there and that side is not as hard.

That's what I should have done  It is a fun trail though.

Any body up for a highway 4 run this weekend

susposed to maybe get some rail/snow on Friday, but the levels are susposed to be high. I have the weekend open and since I have no body protection I would like to run a easier trail like coral hollow or sourgrass, but would be up for running another trail like Slick rock or Deer Valley in my heep. Any body up for a run???

Whatever people decide on is cool with me. It's on then for this Saturday (11/11/06), rain, hail, snow, etc, doesn't matter.

Cool looks like we will run, I think we will run Boards Crossing, and Corral Hollow, its supposed to rain on Saturday so be prepared for wet weather. I am still not sure which rig I am going to drive, if its just two of us I may drive the jeep it’s a set up a bit more with the winch and all.

I live in Arnold so I will meet you in Arnold at 10:00 at the Shell Gas station on highway 4. We can head out from their. We will run Boards first, and then head up to Corral Hollow and run that. Both should be wet and fun. Neither is a hard trail but both are fun when wet. If others would rather run slick rock I am up for change. I am just happy to be out wheeling.

Dang!!!

Cant do it on sat.
If for some reason you guys change it up Im up for Sunday.
Anybody else want to go Sunday?

I can't do it on Sunday. My girlfriend has work. I can do Friday though, if that suits everybody else. The forecast looks more adventurous Saturday and Sunday though.

Double Dang!!!.

You guys have fun.

I will be at the shell at 10:00 have not decided which rig I am going to take, but I will be there. Susposed to have rain and possible light snow up higher. I doubt if Sour Grass (boards crossing) will have anything, but the snow level are susposed to be around 5500 so that means that Corral Hollow may have some light snow. It should be a fun day.

I wish I could go tomorrow but unfortunately I have a bunch of crap to do at the house tomorrow along with some cruiser stuff and homework stuff. It should be a fun trip if you get some snow. If I get my crap together tomorrow then some guys up here in Amador County are goin to run Deer Vallley on Sunday. Have fun and drive safe

Hey Dylan,

Cool pics! Is the snow on Corral Hollow? We went on that trail this Summer while the wildflowers were out and we liked that trail alot. The Bear Trap cabin is cool.

We want to come in from the first entrance with our offroad tent trailer and camp at the look out area just before the ski run!
