I think you're going to find most local cruiserheads at Pismo Beach this weekend.

Sounds fun ,but Im going with the flock.

JMO Deer Valley might do a minor mangling to a stock truck.
But then again what do I know.

Beretta,

Deer Valley is a great trail. If I were you, I would not do it alone. This time of year traffic has slowed down on the sierra trails. Weather is unpredictable and you could find yourself stuck out there for a while. If you go, let someone know where you are going and when you'll be back.

Have a great time

A rating of "minor mangling" is okay by me. I'll try to take it slow. The nerf bars will give up their lives if necessary. They actually do keep small-med rocks off the body.

Thinking about going at it alone, but got that thread about how somebody slashed two tires on the trail in the back of my mind.

I know my club is running boards crossing easy trail for stock rigs this weekend. Its our annual trail clean up. The plan was to run boards and clean it and then corral hollow. You welcome to join us, I may not be able to make it, but if I dont your still welcome to join us.

http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?p=300914 there is a write up it. We usually have 5-10 rigs half jeep/half toyota. If I go I will be driving my cruiser. Its a fairly easy trail lots of fun. Good for a day trip better for a camp spot. We will probably run coral hollow after. Not sure though depends how much the trail got damaged.

I would not do Deer Valley alone this time of year with that forcast.

May be if you were a vet to that trail,,,,,,

Still would be iffy.

Now if you went hwy 88 side blue lakes and went to the river that wouldnt be that bad.
There will probally be at least 1 other rig out there and that side is not as hard.

AS far as Deer Valley goes, I would not do the trail alone either at this time of the year. A sierra thunderstorn can come on rather quick with no warning and can wash out the trail and turn it into a river if its a heavy storm. Been there done that and it wasn't fun. I am ready to go this fall and winter, I'm bummed i missed the trip you guys took last winter. I do have saturday and sunday off now so any weekend is good. Drive safe.

forgot about this thread. ............

So, I think I'm getting the impression that I shouldn't run Deer Valley alone. That means, somebody should come with me. Dylan, does that mean you're up for a trip this Sat? It doesn't have to be Deer Valley. Any other trail 7/10 or under is good.

If not, then what about the next weekend?

maybe next weekend, but i am joining everyone else and going to surf and turf.
Deer Valley is an awesome trail I have been on it several times, i would like to do it again at least one more time this year but time is running out. I think us NorCal guys should arrange a trip that you guys went on last year in the snow, that looked cool and i missed that one.

Lets set something up for next weekend.

Paul, thanks for the heads up on the club run, but I'll hold out until next weekend. It seems the trail is supposed to be easy, and I don't like cleaning anyways.

Dude like everyone this side of the Mississippi is going to SnT bro.

hope I spelled that right.

Your not going?

babe next year eh.

SNT is too far for me. I can't take the entire weekend off. It's always during mid-terms. Besides, I like snow wheeling and running trails in the Sierra more than the sand.

Your spelling in the first line is fine. But that last line...I'm hoping that you mangled up "maybe" and didn't just call me babe. Not that there is anything wrong with that...

That is funny

Well that is par for me if I don't spell it wrong I use the wrong spelling and or meaning and if I don't do that then my fingers hit the wrong keys.

Sometimes I can't win.

LOL
