Hey Guys,
The F&$%^#$ at my garage did this to my FJ62 this AM. I have never had this kind of damage so I was hoping someone will know a general range for fixing this. They are going to pay, but it still sucks. BTW don't park your Rig at Old First Garage in SF on Sacramento and Polk.

If its painted correctly it will cost a nice large sum. They are going to have to paint the entire quarter plus if you dont have fresh paint it will be a bitch to match it to the rest of the car.

Bummer, make up a good story and call it trail damage :D

$1450 - The winner gets to make fun of him for getting battle scars in the parking garage. (Just giving you crap man,) That really does suck and I would be pissed. How did they manage that? Oh, and it will be easy to avoid that garage because I live in Idaho.

Get a proper estimate from a reputable body shop. Get the money from the garage or it's insurer. Pop the dent out yourself as much as you can (from inside the well), apply touch up paint to any bare metal... pocket the cash or buy your rig something special.

PS, I never park where I have to hand over the keys to some garage monkey... an my rig already looks like crap :D

I know and honestly it was my last day there. No joke. Had it there 1 month and was moving it to a self parking garage tonight!

Quotes are what I thought too. It may turn out for the best as I can then get the whole thing re-painted.

Thanks all.

Ha! I haven't had this down here for more than a month! I will update this with new photos when it is fixed. I am going to get the whole thing painted. Two toned grey and black at the bottom.

Ended up having a ding in my other toyota. I was surprised that the quarter panel wasn't that expensive but the painting was ridiculously expensive. The final bill was $2,717.83. The quarter panel only cost $257. Of course, the insurance company screwed up a few things that ended up making the bill larger than it should have been. I think the original quote was $1,900.

I say about $1250 but it has been years since I have been around auto body and paint so the $1450 to $1800 range may not be far off.

good luck and keep us posted

Don't even get me started on people knowingly damaging your vehicle and not leaving a note.

It's almost be worth it for my vehicle to self-destruct as soon as the person decided to leave without doing the right thing...BOOM! Bye Sucka!

:flipoff2:

maybe drive into something on the other side so both of them match. ;p

Kidding....Nice clean looking rig ya got there.

Pull The inner panel off and give it a whack or two and you will be good to go. Then take the $2,000 check from the insurance company and buy gas and oil and drive the s*** out of it.
