any garmin 276C GPSMAP users - or just old style garmin users - on the MAC or WIN XP? (1 Viewer)

anyone using a garmin 276 GPSMAP that is using a mac or an old WIN XP box?

i'm technically pretty savvy but this garmin load map thing is kicking my ass.

and i really want to get this thing going on my 93 BMW R100GS and in my new to me 80 series (LX 450) before summer...!

demands for bribes or trades or even compensation welcome. seriously.

I used a Garmin 276 and a 376 for years on my BMW R1200GSA and now I cannot get anything to download to it using a MAC laptop. I was told that since they do not support the GPS any longer I think we are screwed. Mike

pre- 2009 mac machines should work. also older XP machines and PC computers certainly should work.
