Dude I was stoked to find your build thread! Saw your cruiser and had to see the build, it's really similar to what I have in mind if I get a cruiser!! Looks dang near perfect! Its got character, hope to see some more small little mods here and there!

Thanks man. I've almost got it exactly how I want it minus a few things here and there. Has by far been the best and most reliable vehicle I've ever had shhhh don't tell that to my cobra. Haha

So this weekend Alana got a new valve cover gasket, throttle body cleaning and gasket, throttle cable, new plug tube seals, and new cap n rotor.
Figured she deserves it after hitting the 300k miles.

All in all it was pretty straight forward and the internals seemed to be pretty darn clean. And still runs like a champ!

Just got my new tepui awning yesterday. Mounted it up and tried it out last night.

Actually had a chance to set up my awning and use it out at folsom lake yesterday.

Works great. Advice to anyone who buys one, make sure you use the guy lines and stakes to secure it. Otherwise any small breeze will turn this thing into a giant wind sail! Ask me how I know.








I also just bought a blue sea fuse box to clean up the engine bay and the positive terminal a bit. Part number 5029. It has 12 hookups. It will be used for my LEDs, Fog lights, CB, future electric fan, more LEDs and anything else I decide to ad.
I'm going to need to make or modify a bracket to mount it. I'll post up pics when it's finished

Nice! What part of Folsom Lake do you normally go to? I've only been off of Douglas and Rattlesnake Bar. Any other cool entrance points?

I normally go to rattlesnake, but this time we went the Douglas entrance and went all the way back to dotons point. Still a few good obstacles to play on but not much.

Just got my new tepui awning yesterday. Mounted it up and tried it out last night.

I just got one of these as well. Any pics or advice on how to mount this up to you roof rack? TIA

I used "u" type clamps to attach them to the rack. I will try an take some pics for you tonight or tomorrow. They are very solid.
