Made the 5 and a half hour drive to pismo beach with some buddies (green camp) and had a blast! This was our 5th year in a row to the "pismo jamboree "
A few action shots.

I also won a pair of RunCool hood louvers. Just need to get a round to cutting up my hood :&

I think I will end up installing them here

@erymer
So for the front I just used bolts with washers underneath since my front half of the rack has metal mesh to secure it. The back half of the rack only has cross bars so that's where I used the "U" bolts.

Very cool. Love the Pismo pics btw. Thanks for the pics and the info. Mines not the expanded metal but could very easily use the same thought process. Thanks a ton for the pics. :)

Pismo was a blast and got to try out my new 529s on the dunes!!! Performs 100x better than last year!

Anytime man glad I could help

I'm in NorCal (sacramento)
I'm trying to get the days off for it.

Just read your 5 page thead here, very nice mods.
What gears are you running with the 37s?
And are they the wider 14" or 12.5"?
Like 365/ 75r16?

@GW Nugget

They are vitally 345s
A hair under a true 37"
I'm running Yukon 529s.
The width is about 13.5" I'd like to go 365s but I dojt want to go another 1" wider :/
My next tire and wheel set up will probably be a true 37x12.5x17"

Replaced my brake rotors with some nee ones and threw in some 100 series pads.

I also replaced the inner and outer bearings and seals while I was in there.

Looks good!

Had a hell of a time with the passenger side spindle. The threads broke off as I was loosening the 54mm nuts. Took a bfh to get them off. Luckily I had a local hook up and got one to finish the job.

Had Chance at califabrication weld up and custom fit my trail grar sliders, make me a custom stripper pole, and a loop on my stinger for my winch hook.

The drivers side

Passenger side. He made a removable leg so I can still access the side by side cat if need be.

Took it to the lake for the weekend. Wasn't anything to wheel or test my new sliders on but it was a great weekend.

Forgive me if I missed it, but which OME springs are you running? Js all around with spacers?

Folsom?

Wow that's close and looks nice. Think I'll take the kids there since I have short weekends now...

So now that you got your sliders...when we going wheeling?
