Another telescopic antenna mast thread, OEM or knockoffs or get rid of it?

Broken the antenna mast at a carwash, then replaced twice with Amazon and eBay knockoffs. Neither survived more than a month or two, failed internally!

Just replaced this a few weeks ago. It looked and felt about as stout as the original. Zero issues and simple install.

auto antennas were s*** when I was 20, and they're still s*** at 45.

Mine broke at car wash and they paid to replace OEM.

But - then I put on an ARB snorkel so I just deleted it. I got a generic antenna that is on the inside windshield in the top right corner and works great. Don't even notice it. I'll get a pic later.

Make sure you don't have a broken piece still in there from before....my cheap e bay replacement has been fine.

I ended up with ordering another aftermarket antenna mast. Once that is broken will go for tundra way, thanks.
