I picked up the 100 yesterday and I couldn't be happier. The first thing I had to do was adjust the mirrors. I knew the old foam - 20 years and 200,000 miles - had collapsed a bit. Since it was my ass in that seat for 15 of those years and 165,000 of those miles, it was so gradual, I hadn't realized how much the seats had flattened. Over the past year or so, I was starting to feel the bottom of the seat back on my lower back; like I'd sunk "under" the seat back. I'm 6'0" and 180lbs, so I assume this is typical wear. I know the shop rebuilt the seat bottoms; I forgot to ask if/how much they rebuilt the backs.

What I didn't expect was how nice the leather would feel - it's like BUTTER.

I feel like I have a brand new 2006 Land Cruiser.

Is this a custom cut by an upholstery shop? it looks different from the usual pre made replacements.
I just back read, how much was the total bill?

Yeah, full custom to replicate OE - first and second rows (rebuilding foam), arm rests, head rests, and center console - $2,800 materials and labor

OEM seat covers are in stock, both front seats (71072-60732-B2) (71071-60810-B0). For now. OEM seat pads (71502-60100), too.

I feel like I'm looking at my 100... three years ago. I wonder why your leather has held up so much better. Height? Jeans vs ___?
Jeans mostly but varies. I've had mine for 10 years and have put 175k on it since i got it. I'm 6' 195lbs, I do have a habit of not sliding in or out on that bolster, but instead stepping into it and sitting. That's probably why, mostly. Passenger side is better as are the second row seats.

@Couvi, same here - jeans, shorts, etc. always try sit on the seat vs. sliding into the seat. Height? Maybe? I'm wondering if it's environmental - my 100 lives in the sun in Atlanta.... just baking... and baking...

@MongooseGA, Thanks!
