Looks awfully like the ARB Combination Bar...

(from their webpage)
TJM are proud to announce that production has now commenced on the New T13 “Outback Bar” to suit Toyota Landcruiser 100 Series IFS 11/02+ and Coil spring. This bar is packed with features others don’t even have as options.

Standard Features Include:

Reinforced T slots in channel for highlift jack
4mm Wings
Welded wing returns
7 point fold wing return for added strength
5mm Centre Section
Ox Hydraulic winch plug mounts
Winch Control box mounting points
Built in winch frame to suit up to our new 15 000lb Ox electric winch
2 welded on aerial tabs inside Kato (tested to withstand a HF aerial)
Front Kato straps run down the full depth of channel for strength & aesthetics
Side mid tubes for extra strength of side loops & headlight protection
Side loops run down into the lower channel section for extra strength
ADR indicator/park light assembly
Mounting holes to accept tow hooks
Extra large viewing slot
Easy access to winch
Steel bar powder coated in Black Onyx

This bar is as tough as it’s name suggest & featured recently in the LOPE (Legendary Outback Products Expedition) DVD on two 100 Series vehicles that were punished to the extreme.

I like!

Wonder what it weighs? And I wonder if the winch mounts directly to the bumper (like the ARB) or via a frame plate like the TJM T3C?

D'oh: Just saw in the description the winch mounts to an included winch plate....

I wonder if it's compatible with the LX :(.

What's the difference between the LC and LX front bumpers? From what I can tell looking at various pictures, it looks like the only difference might be due to the different grill and headlight setup on the LX. Are the mounting points and "wing return" (as TJM calls them) dimensions the same? This is probably the one fairly major point I missed when deciding to go with the LX - there are a lot more front bumper options for the LC.

Good find and greynolds I talked with TJM about their other bumpers last year and their LC bumpers didn't fit the LX so I bet this one doesn't either. I'm like you, I want a FULL bar but just can't get it for the LX. The sahara sure looks nice but as I want one for deer protection, the sahara is basically useless for that.

I'd like to know as well if a LC bumper can be fabbed up to an LX. Shouldn't be too much of a difference.

That was the only advantage I saw (and knew about) regarding the LC over the LX. But in the end, there are a lot more 2-3 yr old LX's for sale than LC's, as Toyota sells a lot more LX's.

Anyone know if this will fit on a 2001 LX 470? I see an earlier post saying it won't, however the ARB 2003+ combo bar "won't" fit either (unless you make a 2minute mod to it). I wonder if this requires the same type of 2minute mod.

Slee's Holiday sale is too good to pass up if it will.

The holiday sale is for the older style only, with the t-slot and rectangular lights. The newer outback style is still in a container somewhere, or on a boat, or still in Australia, who knows.

Yep, noticed that. The old style will work for me (if it will fit on the LX), but I definitely need to know if it will fit with minimal modification before I pull the trigger.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't fit a LX with only the removal of the aerial tabs, which is the same as with the ARB bar.

If it's designed like the 98-02 ARB combo bar, lots of material will need to be trimmed off to fit onto any LX or a 03-07 LC. There's a lip underneath the headlights/grille that isnt on the 98-02 land cruisers. Plus yes, the arial tabs.

Do they give a reason why it doesn't fit?

Is it just me or does that hoop appear to be really tall, more so that the ARB. I tried to order the Sahara bar yesterday and was told the it would be 6 to 8 weeks....ugh. Might think about the T3 from TJM.

The T3 would be my choice, but I thought we couldn't buy those anymore? Do you know who sells them?

The bumper is listed for 03-07 trucks that have the lip under the lights. So if it clears those, it should clear an LX470. We added the 98-02 fitment part since backwards is normally ok due to the extra space available on the earlier trucks.
