Dude. Can I haz?

I still have my stock one somewhere :hillbilly:

Have fun tomorrow :)

Pretty much sounds like my weekend minus the carb.

J - is there an order to do the belts in? My shroud isn't split so should be interesting. Been down with a sinus cold the last day and a half so haven't had a chance to go out and look at the pulley on the engine. I a hoping that the AC belt is closest to engine so I don't have to mess with it.

Got all the goodies put on except belts. Belts were in great shape so I have a set to keep in the rig now.

AC went together good with only one call to Rex at CoolStream about the low pressure switch.

Jim C carb runs smooth.. Had to retard my timing a hair but, pumped the pedal 3 times and she fired right up and purrs at 750ish rpm.

That's cool work J

Nice use of colored zip ties. I use all of the larger ones in those variety packs and have tons and tons of those suckers at my Dads house.

Yes indeed.. I only had a few colored zip ties but a spare roll of painters tape filled in. It was only 84 today so I think the AC will do just fine at 90+ degrees later on in the summer. I actually turned it to low on the drive back home.

Looks awesome J.... I am in pretty much the same spot. I got my alt and new PSP installed and the belt on, belt is on for the WP and SP just waiting for the JimC pulley to get here.

Ended up having to trim both my top rad hose and WP to T-Stat hose as they were contacting the PSP and Alt. Crazy how close the Alt is to the line there when my old one was seriously all the way to the end of the bracket. Just goes to show the difference the proper belts and routing can make.

Yep.. Sorry I didn't respond to the belt question. Was at dinner with my bride and never looked again until I figured it was too late and you had it figured out... ;)

I was surprised at the condition my belts were in. No cracks anywhere...

Took Marley to work today. Ran her about 220 miles, adjusted the timing and have her running as good as I can. She got 14.8 mpg with the new Jim C carb running through the hills and had the A/C on all day too, no problems on that end.. Looks like the GOAT is gonna stay at the house more and more.

Got the cut down rack back on too.

Awesome! Glad to hear good numbers. I debate getting my original carb rebuilt. My Weber works fine though. Maybe if I ever get really nuts I'll do it. Plenty of other things my 60 could use.
