New addicts you will meet. The Jamboree is a hoopin' hollerin' good time.

Which cylinder is low? #5 would be my first guess

I thought that anything with a 10-15% spread was considered normal and fine? Is that wrong? Did you do dry/wet and leak down as well or just normal compression test? I want to do this to BeBe but I am afraid that I may find out something bad and don't have the money to fix it.

Ah I c... I am in the same boat, finally replaced the sieve that was my PSP from Mat with one from the junk yard. Now I have my rear main that looks to be leaking and a couple other small coolant leaks that need to be buttoned up along with the T-stat that just went out on me. BeBe is nickel and dime-ing me right now for these little things but still running like a champ. I am thinking that the new t-stat and hoses will help with the coolant loss for me.

#5 is usually the low cylinder, spark plug usually a different tone/color. I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Could the puff of smoke just be exhaust condensate?

I have a couple minuscule coolant leaks at hose junctions, and my radiator probably needs to be cleaned, tested and repaired if needed.

I add some water every once in a while. I'd like to get it all fixed though. Still runs like a champ. Gotta love it.

I suppose it could be condensate but wanna be for sure. I've been driving about 120 miles daily for the last 3 weeks....

I hate leaks. Right now I don't have a single drip anywhere from any component... I prob just jinxed myself..

Got rolling to Jamboree 8 this morning. Met up with RyanEddy16 for a couple runs this morning. Then Kline showed after lunch and spent some time with him and his dad. Great guys.

Somehow I lost a ton of pictures.. Hopefully Kline and Ryan have some. Here's one from the group this morning and Marley playing on the rock garden. (Got about halfway and had enough torture... The SOA and Mods fellas can have this obstacle...)

This is a blast, everyone should try to make this event once.

Here's a couple and I'll post more tomorrow.

I took some pictures today. I second what you said about this event. Guys need to come. Specifically more FJ60's. There are 50 FJCruisers here. No joke. I think I saw one FJ40. One.

See you tomorrow J!

Had a great time with J the short time we got to wheel.

She is ready to roll again. Linkage and pins came today and got put on as well. Linkage is definitely stiffer and more responsive. Changed the return spring as well while I was in there.

Thanks again Georg.

If you guys haven't had the pleasure to do business with Georg... IT'S A MUST !!! AKA--orangefj45 here on MUD... Valley Hybrids

Been a couple a months since the last update. Marley has a couple of new family members...

Been really busy with work and they have extended my contract through the end of the year. Hopefully that will continue til next summer.

Picked up a spare head from Jason at CY and have it at the shop being reworked now. Still driving Marley quite often 200 to 400 miles a week. Same smoke at start up and then goes away...not losing any coolant or oil anymore....:meh:

As always still in on the look out for a decent priced 2H/T or 12HT.

Here a shot of the family now.

Awesome shot :)

Hope things with Marley go well. It seems odd to still get decent mileage and have smoke at start-ups. Usually if something is off mileage will suffer. Example: My FJ60 when I first got it. I don't think a single vacuum line or even hard line held air. Maybe the heat expands the problem piece and allows for normal running?

Either way you will get it fixed
