I laid down sound dampener and flush mounted the cabinet in the rear. Fridge is back in and secured. The smaller aft section of the bed platform lifts and secures to a canvas pull strap with a button fastener. More pics once I finish mocking up and installing these legs to elevate the larger forward section of the bed platform.

Great fun to read the progression of your build and see how the truck evolved through the various stages of family life.

Some of my best memories are from trips taken with my wife and kids, all made possible by these amazing machines.

The truck is mostly packed and ready to head out west later this week. I took care of a number of smaller odds and ends this weekend. I don't love hanging more stuff off the back, but I needed a spot for my propane tank so that's now riding on the galley box. I replaced my campfire in a can with a smaller ammo can version that can ride inside the box. New solar panel wiring is now living in the tailgate along with shore power cords. I threw the 4x4 labs jerry can holder back in the rear driver side and my stove, outback privvy, and Aussie solar shades are all stuffed to the side of the drawer on the passenger side. Should leave plenty of space to move around inside while camped.
