Hey, has anyone tried anodizing stock ASCO locking hubs, specifically the center cap of hubs ?

I met with an anodizing company today and they were worried that the alloy with aluminum may also contain a lot of zinc. Apparently the zinc dissolves when you try to anodize them. They said out of caution I should find out first because if there is zing they will be ruined...

Has anyone been successful in anodizing their hubs? Does anyone know what the make up of the metal is? I have read online that some wArn hubs have a zinc aluminum alloy center cap.

I don't know; never tried anodizing any. How about just powder coating them? Durable and no worries about zinc.

A good solution, not sure if powder can be masked easily, maybe just easier to enamel paint ...
