Set for the weekend of 6-26.

This is a fun trail, in a great area but can bite you if you are not paying attention. Most at risk are underside parts, exhaust, drive shafts, arms, etc, so if you are not sure of the line, ask for a spotter. It will be crowded, plan on trail traffic jams, it’s a good socializing event, so relax, shoot the bull and enjoy the scenery. The group will most likely be split, run in a few groups, this has worked well in the past.

A few have requested a pre trail “rock 101” session, so if a couple of good spotters want to hang in the first section for a bit to help mentor, that would be helpful.

I will be going up in the morning, if anyone wants to caravan? Planning to meet at the gas station formally known as Baja (now Chevron) on Beeline, just past Shea, across from the casino at ~7:30. Also stopping at the Maverick station in Payson on the SE corner of Beeline and Forest RD, pullout at ~9:00. CB channel 4 if there is excessive crosstalk will move to 6.

If you haven’t been before, probably best to caravan with others. If you can’t, PM me your email will send a map.

I was wondering about this annual run just the other day!

:bounce::bounce2:

In like Flynn. We'll likely camp Fri. and Sat..

Josh? B-Man?

I'm out for the 19th, but in for the 26th. We'll be camping overnight. Anyone else?

I really want to make the trip this year! The 19th would work the best for me though.

My kids and I are in!:bounce: Just need to set which weekend A.S.A.P. so we can plan around it.

I was already making plans for 4th of July weekend.

I am ready. I vote for the weekend of 06-26.

Thanks
Howdy! I vote for the 26th. I will just be ending a 2 week road trip on the 17-18th. Wife and I will probably camp one or two nights. John

I don't care when. Last time I wheeled or really camped was that run 2 years ago.
Won't be wheeling this year, either. Might be able to camp/spot.

Damn...Kevin beat me to it! I am down for either, with camping friday / saturday... and  Friday & Saturday! (not on the trail or course)

Do we have any backyard brewmasters who want to start a batch for the event??? (Mr Hustle / Doctor Rob):hillbilly:

Absolutely! What would you like? I'm a pale ale drinker/hop head. I'll make a pale ale this weekend.

Paging Rachet...

Richard; your obligatory yearly CSC run / get together is calling you....

Hoppy is  in my book - I just opened up a Flying Dog Raging Bitch India pale Ale as we type:hillbilly:

Sounds like a girl I once dated back in college...

I'm in for camping at least Sat night or even coming up late on Friday.

I'm in. Probably either weekend works for me and I'll camp both nights. I'll contact my cousin and see if he wants to join us again, I think he may want revenge on some of that trail.

I'll be sure to brew in time for the run! Hoppy eh? I've been wanting to do an English IPA! I'll plan on doing it for the run. 5 gallon keg enough?:beer::beer:

I have to work on Saturday the 26th, but eh... maybe I'll just take the night off since the 26th seems to be the popular vote!

Pencil me and my brood in. The later in June the better for me.

HMMMMM...Maybe this can be Sam's initiation to the wide world of wheeling...
