Wow. Just read this entire thread, and the associated tech thread. After seeing the condition of the mechanicals in tech, it boggles the mind that the seller would defend his "restoration."

But I'm old enough to know that the world has a large population of people who tell themselves lies and believe them.

To the CO, my condolences on the damage to your wallet. On the upside, Jim C has given you what you deserved when you bought this Cruiser.

To the seller (what's his name -- Turdpolisher?), I have nothing to say, because silence is golden, and anything I say could be used as evidence.

I bought a 1976 donor frame, data plates, etc... from him off craigslist.

Excellent communication, pictures, smooth transaction.

Title transferred this morning, plates in hand.

Maybe he has turned over a new leaf....

Google of course. I just thought it was necessary to put some positive spin on the vendor, the Internet can be a cold place sometimes. I of course have no relation to the guy.

Placing my Aqualu order today (frame/body), shipping to Eco-Off road (Scott) to help prepare my rolling chassis.

I'll post more as I get further along.

of course...

Allow me to be the first to say, I believe you. I believe you purchased some goods from a stranger on Craigslist, later googled his name in conjunction with the related product, found the IH8MUD forum and this thread, read it and its tech counterpart in their entireties, registered a username, and posted in his defense. I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of your claim, or the integrity of your character, and, thus, I believe you.

I believe FJseattle.

No way would Brett Young post on here the link to the fatal car crash story. And yes, it's the same Brett Young. His wife's name and their location is mentioned in the story.

Good luck with your build. I'm putting the finishing touches on a complete Aqualu truck now. Post up in the tech section[STRIKE] if[/STRIKE] when you run into difficulty with fitting it together. It's not impossible, but it can be frustrating getting everything to line up on the firewall.

agree with semlin, this is not karma at all.
the old lady pulls unsafely into traffic and gets T boned.

sad for the dead old lady and her survivors
sad for our favorite dinkus (not that i can feel that bad)
