the proper venue is to offer the CO a full refund including shipping of the truck (in the condition it is in now) and a written apology for "missing" the flaws.
Wayne, sadly, doing the proper thing is not a common business practice anymore. Neighbour told me on the weekend that he had bought a gold & diamond ring for his girl friend at a national department store which is being taken over by a US chain. Cost him about $1000. She took it into a jeweler to be properly sized and the jewelers said he would not touch it as it was fake. My neighbour went to take it back to the store and manager insisted all sales were final and refuse to take it back regardless if it was really sold under false pretenses. Police ended up being called and now it will likely end up in court. At least that is what the police officer recommended. WTF?
Funny, isn't it. If you steal something in a store and you go to jail and/or get charged but if a business steals from a customer the police tell you to go to court.
It always is good to hear about most of the mud member businesses fighting against the trend to rip off customers and make a quick buck. Keep it up Jim. We need more business people like you in the world.
