Good afternoon, this is my first post since joining this group. I purchased a 2019 Land Cruiser recently but need to install steps to help my elderly mother to get in and out of the vehicle.
Amp research does not produce a model for the Land Cruiser, however, there is a company (Westcott Designs)
that sells a bracket kit to make the amp research (P#75137-01A) steps designed for the tundra work.
My question is, has anyone done this before and if so, does anyone know what the colors of the wires I need to tap into on the driver side electrical box (left of steering column) and passenger kick area are)? There are 4 wires total, the “front driver”, “driver rear”, “passenger front” and “passenger rear.
The manual that comes with the amp research steps are for the Toyota tundra so I am not sure if the colors will be the same. I’ve attached photos below of what’s included in the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The 2 color photos below are from a tundra forum but just to give you guys an idea
