Looks like the apron had some work done as that there are no holes for the badging and, to me, it looks resprayed in general.

Unfortunately. judging from the photographs, if the truck has only 17,000 miles it, must’ve been a snow plow. Certainly has several parts missing and/or replaced. Repainted as well.

I only have videos and not photos so I screen shot the video. When I get back home from work I will take more photos and post. If you know how to post videos and could instruct me on how to post those that would be appreciated.

Yes I work out of town so I'm unable to post more pictures at this time but I will do so in the next few days. As far as I know this didn't have any work done to it. My father passed away this was his. I do know it's been parked in a garage the last ten years and that's about it.

I want to point out that this is located where it does not snow enough to be driven 17,000 miles as a snow plow just not realistic and when I can, more photos will be available and I will make damn sure to show the extremely great condition this is in. Thanks.

Don’t take anything too seriously, we’re genuinely a good group of helpful folks who are deeply passionate about these vehicles and have the knowledge to back it up.
Also, most of us have seen the new member post about an impossibly low mileage fj40 in complete original condition. It very well may be that your dad’s truck only has 17k on it. It’s just highly improbable. Also, the truck is not totally original. None of this really matters though, if it’s in good to great condition even with 117k on it, it’s still a valuable vehicle. Potentially.
Let’s see some better pictures. We will tell you more than you’ve ever wanted to know about it.

Do you have the original hardtop, front and rear doors? The soft top and doors on it aren’t original.
With all due respect, you posted this as an "all original fj 40". Even to a novice like myself, it clearly is not all original. You have to expect some pushback when you misrepresent a vehicle that is for sale. If you're not sure what you have, just be honest and say that.
I’m 3 hours away on the coast. When are you going to be available to show it?
