Just to regear, but looks like that plan is on hold for the moment, as it depended on an axle swap that fell through as the axle I had in mind to swap in didn't work out. If you don't mind giving me a quote for future reference I'd appreciate it.
 
Have an 86 4Runner with 85 pickup straight axle up front. Tryin to run 38's I think.. Lookin for 5.29 arb front n rear? Somewhat daily but wheeler daily as well for work. What would that run?
 
Are you (re)using factory 3rd castings, Trail-Gear 3rd castings, or your own castings?
 
This post is pretty old. We've redone our website since, and have not yet added the 3rd members for a couple of reasons. Generally its a purchase that requires talking to someone to sort out what will work best. We offer aftermarket gearing options for ALL models of Toyota 4x4's. We also stock cores for nearly all models of Toyotas. Some used OE cores, Some new aftermarket Nitro cores. For your applications there are lots of options. Any of them would include the later design, larger pinion head and larger 29 spline pinion shaft. Not only are they superior quality in terms of metal quality and fit and finish, but also dimensionally larger. We use this design whether 4 cyl, v6, or highpinion type 8". We can built it with open, Auburn LSD, Truetrac LSD, Detroit Locker, Lock Right, Powertrax, TJM Pro locker, ARB Air Locker or Spool. We only use Oem Toyota or Nitro aftermarket 3rd member castings for our complete 3rd members. All built with the best parts by some of the industry's most experienced professionals / Toyota owners.

What would the price be on 5:29s be if I sent you my differentials? They are off an e-locked LX450?
