A century ago Astronomers used a precision Blink Comparator to detect slight position changes of stars in photos, flicking back and forth between photos.
I could have used one just now to see what you are up to.

Looks great
How do the latches feel?
Do they tighten the doors enough so they do not rattle?
What kind of seal are you using?
If you leave it polished no one would blind you from behind with their headlights

Some day maybe I’ll learn to weld aluminum

I bought a cheap tig welder but have not set it up yet.
Cost the same as a spool gun setup for my mig.

Are you riveting? bolting? sheet screws?

I’m attaching the aluminum sheet to the metal frame using cherry max pop rivets. A bit expensive but way more durable than the average cheap box store stuff.

We usually use Sika 221 when attaching aluminum sheetmetal to structures with rivets, it helps with noise and vibration and also for sealing.
If we need extra strength due to design purposes, we use Sika 265 (windshield bonding material and it's appropriate primer system).
Works very well on purpose built canopies.

Finally onto final assembly

Little bit of progress. I thought once everything was painted it would all come together fast
Got the outside skins on the doors cherry max pop riveted on.
Got the lower frame installed. Had to use some seam sealer in places to waterproof. Got insulation figured out and installed on the ends of the bottom frame.
The whole goal of this was to make the doors attached a way that would not need to make new mods to the bed of the Ute in case in the future I needed to use the tail gate. I used the two locating pins on the bottom outside of the back end, the two tailgate attachments for the bottom of the tailgate. And one bolt on each side between the top have (cap) and the top of the bottom frame.
