I suspect your asking for 77 length side wings in particular?

No current plans, the bandwidth to get these made is so tough at current that making a new offerings is unlikely. At current we sell everyone we can get made so it would be irresponsible to offer something new that we can't reasonably fulfill on imo. Based on sales volume, a 75/78 troopy variant would come before the 77.

The current bumpers work and fit well on the 77 imo, for those needing additional side protection behind the rear axle, we have other offerings (Kaymar, Gobi, etc).

Yeah. The bumper like the one you offer with 77 length side wings + the door mated swing outs would be a dream bumper to have. I love my kaymar but stopped using the swing outs after going back and forth about them. The good thing it isn't too hard to remove/add them, just kinda messy because of the grease.

I'll give it another look when we get caught up with current orders. We have a batch due shortly that should cover all but the most recent back-orders.

Got the eBay tail lights.

While it may not pertain to your exact purchase, I would caution you towards the lack of “water-proofing” on a variety of after market (Chinese) LED lights. It they are mounted where it is subject to mud and water from the rear tires they can have a relatively short life span.

I put smaller gussets on mine. My Bj74 with soft top lacks storage and I was able to mount a pair of ATV recovery boards outboard of the spare’s vertical post and a bag of ropes and a tarp to the left of it. This stuff is between the tire and the rear door. Actually, the tarp and ropes are partially jammed into the back side of the spare’s rim also.
I wish I was skilled enough to make a strangely shaped waterproof box in that area that the spare would mount over.

nice progress

I vote ..with diagonal support

will you have a way to cap the Castle nut on the carrier?

do you own a plasma cutter ? awesome piece of kit for fabrication work

yes there is a cap for the castle nut.
Yes, I think it will come out today.

First off, did not see the SKIPPY before... peanut butter always wins!!

I like the brace on there. Gives you more options for mounting a beer opener up there.

Are you running any electrics up this tube for lighting or 12v? good time to plan that out now....

FYI, I like the trail gear spindle kit, nice kit as well. Too big for this project though.

Shoot, just realized I didn’t post pictures of my strut…
You might consider reversing your strut, so it is not in the way... I imagine if you wanted to open the swing out and step on the bumper to get on top of the rig or in the bed, you might not want the strut there. You can see my setup and even how I routed electrical for mine. My tailgate drops to just above my bumper, so I had to nib off the corner of my tailgate to clear the strut.

also, here is how I did my stop. Similar to 4x4 labs method. Simple and effective.

I think the spare carrier is done, except for the latch mechanism.
If I did my math right I can adjust the distance for the flange to fit both wheels type I have.
That took long enough 🙄 probably just as much time to figure out the tail lights/license plate with lights/and finalize the receiver hitch.

Looking really good. I like your use of 2" trailer hitch to make the tire adjustable. Be sure to tap/thread a bolt on one side so that it is not moving.
