The builder was able to machine a hole in the oil cooler cover for a block heater

That's where the factory cold climate model had the block heater. Didn't think about warming the oil, probably wouldn't warm the oil too much though.Just curious why you went to the effort to put it there? To keep oil warm too?

That booster was what Charles had put in the truck, I think it was from a 80 series? I still have the brake booster from the BJ70 donor but hasn’t been used in over 10 yrs
I will try and find them.You are going through all of this work on the conversion: I'd get a new booster and master at the same time. Refresh everything and get rid of old parts. There is a market for the old stuff too.
These are the tools I used to prep for the POR15What did you prep for the POR-15? Wire wheel and a metal prepper?
I found the stuff only stuck to a patina. What were you going to top coat with?
