Anyone out there have any suggestions for an air filter upgrade for 3b? I was thinking about putting a cone on or maybe even just a k&n. just looking to get a little more power for cheap. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Already have turbo and 3'' exhaust :)

Wasn't sure if a higher flow air would help. Thanks for the advice....guess I better start saving for an intercooler.

I'm doing the intercooler now. They're cheap. 100 bucks ebay......200+ for silicon elbows and pipe.
Big time commitment as the rad needs to move back 2.5"..........think trim shroud and some cutting. It would be mad money if you had to pay someone else for labor.

Incidentally, I had a K&N cone and I'm going back to the stock can b/c the former was too loud for me.

Right on. My truck is loud enough as it is...
Just out of curiosity, what kind of intercooler setup are you going to run?

Indeed, stay away from K&N and cone/pod filters. It's a boy racer gimmick that has no positive effect.
I've seen dyno tests with standard air filters and pods and the OEM stuff always comes out ahead.
And further proof that it is nonsense, is that car manufacturers, to this day, stick to the standard air filters and air filter housing.
