So another (potential) hiccup. I ordered the Heritage rims from Amazon. After a week from having place the order I notice that the rims have not moved and are either as far as the Post Office is concerned in "waiting for item" or "waiting for processing" but nothing is moving. When I inquired the seller stated "this ins't Prime and bulk items take a while to move". So I asked when would it be "normal" then to see the items move; his reply "90 days". I informed them that in no universe will I wait 90 days and will file for a reimbursement if they don't show up by date given on Amazon.

What a pain...

Do you have the exact link ya used?

I’m GUESSING They’re a drop shipper, kinda of common with OEM parts to sell item they don’t have, order them, and have them shipped to buyer. It’s kind of shady and gray area, but common enough it’s annoying

Does the Amazon page for it give an “estimated delivery by” date?

Yep, arriving January 26, ordered January 2. Here is one of the tracking numbers

Says it’s “in transit” and with USPS that’s usually as good of a detail as they give. USPS tracking is horrendous, always has been

Got my blizzax installed this weekend. Amazing how much better the grip is over the a/t's. Hard to put a percent increase in traction, but the road feel has gone from being sketchy to solid. Now to find a spare set of 20" rims for summer tires

Hoping to get my ride late this week. Ordered the Nokian but none in stock here so they ordered it from Anchorage. No date/time as to delivery... welcome to AK and have a nice day...

I ordered the Blizzax from Costco on Dec 24th, they came in Jan 12th. Given the holidays and winter conditions, not bad.

Here Alyeska has the tires in Anchorage but they sub the delivery to Alaska Transport or whatever they're called and they don't give a date other than "when we get there"

Congrats! I know what the wait is like. I have to say the LX 570 is the nicest car I have ever owned. So glad I got it.

Transport left the car absolutely filthy inside and out from steering wheel to door sill full of grime. .Outside was as you'd expect from open transport. Need to reset window motors as master switch doesn't operate the passenger side windows. And so it begins. Tires tomorrow (the AS Michelin truly truly SUCK big time!)

It was a long 5 weeks! Thanks all for your help, I promise I won't ask too many dumb questions or at least I know what forum to post them in
;)

Apologies for the delay in providing proof of purchase; between getting tires, registering the car and The Munchkin (back on my Kill List...) destroying yet another pair of shoes has indeed resulted in a lack of "proof".

Here's a quick couple with more to follow

So as I feared nothing has moved and they're still waiting for acceptance of a package over a month in. I got a couple of emails from Amazon stating that (oh surprise) the rims are late and that if I don't receive them by January 30th I should ask for a refund. Felt like a scam from the get go, still hoping it will come through but looks like I need to get my four grand back asap. The search for black Heritage rims will begin anew. The seller on Amazon is Metro 24 Wholesale Inc. stay away

Any pointers welcome
