Wow, that's surprising to see them side-by-side. The OEMs are pretty lame.

The OEM manifold is a "log style" manifold. The JBA is a collector style. The log style's main benefit is compactness and, you guessed it... cost. But I can see how the larger collector style could cause some fitment problems during assembly. If they put a straight 6 in the 100, they could have even put an equal length collector header on it.you're not kidding... what's with this "in a row to the same pipe" layout...?

fxxx. It doesn't look like it's gnna fit. Angle is completely off from oem and it hits the firewall? We're putting the oem back on now....
