Affect on relocated camera on projected tire/vehicle path graphic lines

This is a pic that slaquer5 uploaded in another thread (TJM Push Guard).

Does anyone have a pic of the view from the OEM location of the camera with vehicle in 4LO that shows the front wheel projected paths with a bull bar, preferably and ARD bull bar? I want to install an ARB bull bar and figured I'd have to relocate the camera but I am wondering if the camera is relocated, how good (accurate) the front tire projected path graphics will be. I've only played a little using the front view while in 4LO but it seems to work fairly well in that I am able to roll up precisely on a rock or tire ramp without a spotter. I'd hate to loose that by relocating the camera. I have the same concern with the rear camera which I use more in everyday parting lot situations when I install a new bumper with tire carrier.

Has anyone relocated either front or rear cameras on a 200 and noticed it messing up the projected path graphics?

My Camera was relocated to the bull bar. They have a bracket that does this

Absent some form of pattern recognition I think the system needs to know the location (in this cased relocated) position of the camera to predict track lines. It is fairly simplistic but I must say I was impressed with the accuracy of mine when I used it to load onto a lift in my garage. It was very, very close to dead on. I think your question remains unanswered. I suspect vertical displacement does not matter, lateral is important and longitudinal not so much.

I agree the lateral (left/right) displacement would screw up the graphics for sure and the other direction less so or not at all. Maybe I could experiment by temporarily moving the camera around see what the affect is. The next question might be how hard would it be to hack into the computer and modify the graphics. That would be beyond my capabilities but I'm sure it would be possible.

I would also like to hack the computer to make the 4LO front viiew available in 4HI just like the the other front/side views.

I don't have a picture with the Camera View. I will try and get one later, this shows the stock location and where it was moved to as part of the ARB setup. The computer isn't going to know it has been moved so the lines will be off making it look like you are farther to the Left then you think

The ARB kit is both lower and off center and they acknowledge it on their web site. I suppose the bottom of the ARB top bar (centered) makes for an awkward wiring run but it would be a great view. I am usually only interested in the first 6-10 feel for the forward camera. I last had an ARB on my 80 and I did not have a camera to fuss with. I suspect that neutering the views in 4WH is a safety driven feature. I have wished for it at times but I would not trust myself not to become fixated on it at an inopportune time. Even in 4WL the feed is terminated based on speed I think. About 99% of my issues are driver based. The truck is actually pretty darn good. Camera resolution is unconsciously poor IMHO he said sitting in air conditioned comfort. A button to launch a camera drone spotter would be nice. The 'home' button puts it back on the rooftop charger without getting your boots dirty. I wear out a pair of Wolverines yearly but no battery failures ever.
