Advice on rear lift suspension W/ ICON 2.5 Extended Travel Front Coilovers

I scored some used/re-built ICON coilovers that are adjustable from 0"-3.5" of lift, but they happen to be extended travel which I really don't need. I was only planning on doing a 2" lift because I want to keep things some-what mild for when I get a travel trailer to tow. I already have lightly used 2" RadFlow rear springs that I was planning to install in the back.

I am trying to figure out if it will be OK to go with these RadFlow springs and get some matching 2" Radflow shocks. Because I really don't want to go extended travel ICON shocks in back because I don't want to go with 3" springs. So do you guys think there will be any weird issues mix matching the front and rear suspension?
 
You will be fine. Just don't crank up the coilovers in the font. Extended length affects down travel.
 
I think you'll be ok. I'd suggest the 2.5" Radflo shocks for the rear.

I'm running Radflo 2.5" coilover up front with the 600 in/lb springs, ICON 2" rear springs and Radflo 2.5" rear shocks. The ride is good, suspension is very stable. It's super at higher speeds on and offroad, unfortunately at slow trail speeds imho it's mediocre at best.
 
So after talking to one of the guys at Metal Tech I ended up going with 2.0 ICONs instead of the 2.5 RadFlow’s. I may re-address this when I eventually add a rear bumper with a swing out. Also added the shin guard shields to keep them nice and purrdy.
 
you will like the shin guards, mine are beat up, but the shock shaft is not.

I did the 2.5 all the way around, because of the RADFLO website. I am guessing my GX470 weight is close or over the 5000lbs mark. Radflo Suspension Technology - Shock Absorber Selection Guide

SIZE: The diameter of the shock absorber body must be matched to the vehicle weight and intended use. Larger diameter shocks contain more oil for greater operating efficiency, as well as larger internal components and mounting hardware for strength.

Shocks are recommended for light weight vehicles (up to 5,000 lbs) and street applications. Multiple shocks per corner must be installed for heavier vehicles.


2.5" Shocks are recommended for medium weight vehicles (5,000 – 7,500 lbs) and recreational or racing applications. A single 2.5" shock is comparable in performance to dual 2.0" shocks.
