LX has HUDWhat 200 has a HUD?
Interesting, I didn't know that. Thank you.
Old topic, but same issue. I feel like I sit straight but right side cutting off, have to lean. Any solution?Does anyone know if you can adjust the HUD from right to left? The adjustment up and down helps, but the speed is cut off on the right side. I have to lean to the left to see the entire display.
I read somewhere that it can be moved by adding washers to projection unit.
I searched for it and found only one mentioning of "fix" on Prius forum YES, priuses have same issue. Owner complained and dealer said there is no fix, but "unofficial" is to move unit. With no further details.I really thought about this for a while and thought I was just gonna have to live with it.
For all our sakes can you please find that? It’s beyond annoying and a real disappointment in design.

To answer WHY? I think it's a geometry thing. How tall are you? I am 6 1 and seat is all way back. My wife, when she drives, doesn't have any issue seeing HUD. I have right speed digit cutting off (see with one eye only)
I kind of don't pay attention anymore and just drive it. Don't know if/when I get to it. Not going to touch it while on warranty. But my experience says that even after warranty I probably won't worry about it..
I don't think it's like that. It's simply a projector. Simple washer under mounting bolt will tilt it. Thats how it was explained.Same. I have a large list of post warranty mods.
I guess we don’t know if adjusting is possible in our trucks but at least the Prius is a proof of concept that however it mounts can be accessed and modified. Instead of being a sealed box or something with no room for play.
