Are the motors handed, meaning 2 different part numbers? Also, are the arduino instructions available for the "window controller"

I want to do this so starting to get the parts together. I got 2 motors for $80 each on ebay. It will take some time to get materials together, but I would like to test these motors. What is the easiest way to do that?

Connect the wires to 12v and ground. The motor will operate to the limit, then stop. Flip the 1v and ground and the motor will run in the opposite direction, hit its limit then stop.
