I think this is the same guy who used to advertise on Craigs List before Covid. He would say basically the same thing LC shop in Acworth, “going out of business”… “getting rid of everything”.
From the looks of his old CL posts, I think at one point he had some good stuff, but I think it has mostly been picked over. I reached out to him back then a couple times and he wanted TOP DOLLAR for parts (ebay prices), so I never bought anything from him.
He may have some good stuff left but the last few posts on CL were stuff like old used radiators, half assembled heads, and a few axles. Just like this post he was usually pretty vague about what he had, and it was hard to communicate with him so I gave up.
It might be a “pot of gold” but probably not.
If anyone here knows more… fill us in.
Yeah, he might have some good stuff?I remember that post. If we are thinking of the same one, it was like you described, a bunch of frames, axles, and random parts scattered about. I feel for the guy, but when selling, you gotta polish that pig up if you want top dollar.
