Going thru this process this afternoon and I have two questions:

1) does anyone know what this is part of and how to reattach it? Just fell out while I was removing the AC filter cover and not sure what it’s for? (Picture 1)

2) is it normal to have some condensation holding in this clear chamber, or should it all be draining out fairly quickly? I drove the car 3 hrs prior to performing this work. You can see the water move when I press on the clear chamber in the third picture. (Pictures 2 and 3)

That has nothing to do with AC. That piece connect to left side of glove box and the fancy glove box tension string connects to it, making the glove box smoother when opening.
