I've got 3 kids. When travelling we've got tablets, etc. on for longer trips. Currently I rely on charging them 1 at a time from up front.

I'd like to know of a way to install 2 or 3 USB powering locations in the back area. Maybe even a separate inverter with AC for other devices. Most important is USB charging for smalelr devices though.

Found a few threads, but can't decide how to do it best with just USB for now.

Has anyone come up with a good solution for this?

There are lots of ways. You could quickly hack something together by splicing the factory wiring.

For power distribution examples here is NLXTACY's power distribution threads:

Obviously, you don't have to go that far, but he does everything right.

I recommend using this USB outlet, it provides 2 amps of power (max, so if you plug 2 usb they would get about 1 amp each)

Good luck, I recommend ensuring you have a good design/idea before you start purchasing or modifying anything

Perfect, that gives me some great ideas for my next additions.
