What is the advantage of eliminating ABS? Now that I think of it, what is the advantage of having it go off when the CDL is engaged?

A 3D parinted part or Delrin would work for that block off plate.

2 piece would be super cheap to manufacture. Plug with a lip bolt and bent tab to hold it down.

So I did some calculations...
Aluminum would be a few cents cheaper vs Delrin. Delrin would take 45seconds less to machine but longer to deburr.

Doing it in two pieces actually isn’t cheaper nor quicker but not exponentially.

I was thinking this would be something you eventually would think of. I wish you had them a month ago. I have some ghetto fab plates sealed with RTV at the moment.

Put me down for two fronts and two rears. That’s four total in old math, which is the only kind I sort of know.

big zirc fitting perhaps???

...they say I'm full of "ideas"....

of course, I was aware of LCP's item (didn't know it was available yet).

Edit: I guess I don't win a free bolt-on turbo for the idea since it isn't original, huh?

I just replaced the inspection plugs on mine. I would also say just leave the ABS delete plug, just a plug. It would be harder to add grease from the top anyhow, plus less machining.

Except how do you gauge how much to add? You’d have to remove the plug anyway to inspect. Then you are pressurizing the knuckle. There is no vent except thru seals.

On mine, yes it’s only good for like 5 people but you still have the inspection plug open to gauge the fill and to prevent pressurizing. :hmm:
