i am up for what ever.
i am not big into Wendys, DQ, Macs etc. Boston is fine, a local pizza shop or "hole in the wall" is even better.

Louis, i will supply enough burgers for everyone on Saturday night.

so we have sunday left.

Ok I there is a local place or two in calabogie for pizza I am pretty sure, might be nice to head some where for a sit down meal.

sounds like a plan Wayne. if yall think the 40's good on the 401, then no probs! slow it is. we can meet at our usual 401/hwy 10 timms meet spot (when heading to the guelph meets). so you're not taking a tow vehicle and takin the red pz?!

thanks Bruce for the tip, lookin forward to seein your 40!

alrighty, we already got chops and burgers, how 'bout i do some saussages for sunday? i'm just wondering about the food preservation situation....? between runs, are we close to a town with a grocery store, gas, etc..? that way we just buy perishables for the 1st day and then hit town for sat. and sun.?? not sure, haven't wrapped my head around the logistics yet... but whatever works, i'm good for basic livin this weekend, lookin forward to it!

We should be ok to keep food cool, I have a 12V powered cooler that works great. Other things can be picked up in Calabogie.

no tow vehicle, just the red PZ.
need a 35" spare since i have not ran a street spare with those tires since i bought them over 10 years back. ah hell, i will just run without...

in all reality, if it takes us an extra 1/2 to 3/4 hours traveling what real difference does it make? anyway, the slower we go the quieter the ride.

i have no idea what timmies you are chatting about... got a link?

Wayne do you have a good and reliable chainsaw or should i bring one?

Just drained my front diff, was a shimmering gold colour from the copper air line that has been chewed to a fine powder. Fxxxing thing. So no front locker for me - rear is fine.

a good driver needs no lockers... LOL!!
yah, this one is fine, i will bring it along. small and light.

i'll pull you out if needed...

LOL, well the way I look at it is - if we aren't pulling someone or getting pulled then we aren't having fun.

oh yeah, f'got about the 12V cooler, noice.

yep, no probs on how long it takes us cuz i'll be the slowest this time!

hwy 10, just south of the 401, timmies/wendys , so meet there 9AM?

i'll have my light weight saw too.

gonna see if i have time to build a sleep platform for the 40 that folds away, then i'll just use a tarp over the rig. should be fun.

see you friday mornign buddy...
2 saws are better than one... just in case.

everyone, meet Ric/karlysdad, he's good buddies with the PO of my 40, and owns a kickin FJ40! we're gonna try and hook up with him too for a wheelin run in his neck of the woods (quinte west area), maybe september, so keep an eye out. Ric knows all the trails inside out. too bad he can't join us this weekend. see you on the next run Ric!

Ok guys, the forecasted weather is:

Light rain friday 22
sunny saturady 26
sunny sunday maybe a shower 24

Looks like it should be very nice!

The run sounds like a LOT of fun ... & driving for you fellows.
While I am here ... can anyone tell me where one could find a 24V Winch ... preferably one that can be mounted to the BACK of an ARB bumper ( feeding from underneath so to speak )? Its for an HJ60 belonging to Jerome's 40's previous owner ( getting complicated?)

roger that wayne. channel 4 on the 2 way. i'll have it on friday morning at timmies.

(Ric, i'll keep my eyes open for a 24 V winch . . . er wait, i think Wayne was selling one, still got it Wayne? )
