Here are the directions from calabogie to just about the trail head.

I suspect we will have 3-4 trucks for the tight trail, we will run that on sunday and will take a good part of the day.

Saturday hopefully we will have about 3-6 trucks for the other trail, maybe we can do a bit of exploring as well.

Did you book a place yet? If not you guys better get on it:)

Ya I removed it, need to edit it some more. I'll try to send it to you.

You coming up for the run Eric??? Would be great to have you - you would like this trail alot.

At this point if you can find something then you should just book it. I'll try a couple of places and see - try calabogie lodge.

Calabogie peaks has rooms available on the friday night and sunday night - saturday is booked - everything else seems booked as well.

The other option is a room in arnrpior or renfew - about 40 mins away from calabogie.

Right near the trailhead there is a camping spot, firepit, and lake with a small beach.

Mike, what time can you get up to calabogie? If we can get up there early enough we can score the camp site before anyone else does.

so, you guys doin aug. long weekend for sure? how far from Lost-simon{s farmstock run, looks like you{ll be close to each other?

(Wayne, when{s the hz40 leavin your shop?! gotta see that beast!)

cheers.

not sure but Mike and I are heading to Calaboogie for the weekend.
got your 40 up and running yet? if so then what is stopping you from learning on a tech run?

Romey - you should get up for this run - should be pretty fun! I am scouting out 3 more trails in the area next week before the run.

Wayne, you better bring your tractor tires, we are getting rain for the next 5 days and I'd hate to see you sliding all over the place on your slicks.

well send some of that down here, my lawn is turning brown.

okay, T/T will be loaded up for the run but they suck on rock. i thought you said there was NO mud...

Well there is some mud on rock, not really deep stuff unless I can find some on my next scouting run next week. There is no mud bogging but if we keep getting this rain you could be slipping around on those big tires for parts of the trails. You can room in the back for your other tires - then you can judge. Or on your roof racks?

the 40 is ready! clutch is "toit like a toiger" and lights are good, i{ll sort out the towing situation when i get back early next week (tow bar is installed, just gotta get the 80 back end done-wiring), if not, i{m driving the 40 out thar!

i{m down for camping wherever, i{ll start packing when i get home. how many gas cans should i bring?!

. . . itchin...:steer:

your coming on the joint run?!?!
BITCH"N!!

when i drove modified gasser 40s i would bring one extra on the trail and 2 at camp (depending on how far it is to the nearest gas station.)

No problem for fuel, I am sure we will run into town now and then for supplies and whatnot.

Awesome, more cruisers!

I'm bringing a tent with a large screened section - so we can get away from bugs and rain if we have to - I also have a large tarp. Anyone have a cookstove?

i can vouch for both Mike and Jerome's ability to take direction and both are very fast learners. this is turning into a good group.
Jerome,
what time are you heading up? i am leaving very early friday morning and meeting with Mike at about 2. can you make it then? i could meet up with you and head out together, of course i would rather take 7 than the 401 due to slower speed and more scenic...
