lol, fancy that indeed!

great pics rusty and louis! and good eye on that walking stick!

. . . i'm sure i'm still gonna be buzzin the rest of this week, +1 on the
"Oh what a feeling - Toyota!!" rusty! that's just how i felt when i got home . . .

just found a couple lugs loose on the front (actually, on both front tires, 5 were just a tad loose but one was super tight still), and the locking hubs as well, gotta do maintenance on them, and i'm definitely gonna see about takin a leaf out! tha armour underneath would be nice too...oh the disease!!!

well, it was good to see how much fuel i needed for this run, the 3 jugs was way too much, so will be packing even lighter next time. a lot learned, and for that, i thank everyone.

thanks to all that was a great weekend ! i would go back any time .
louis thanks for your knowledge of the area ,hopitality and friendship as well as traill spotting and guidence .to the uppercanada guys hope to see you all again soon keep me posted on any future runs . got lots of vaggie oil to burn in the bj 60 and no kids every other weekend .

Well,
some nice pics being posted up.
i was very surprised with the tires i was running but it turned out acceptable, no tires to change before and after the run was a nice change.
i would be up there again, it was like wheeling in ALberta but the hills much shorter and the rocks much bigger. i loved the powerline run, it was like we were in a different place on the planet and the berries...yummy!! i kept looking for a bear to come lumbering out of the patch.

Louis, it was nice to finally meet up, your a good guy. your truck is coming along nicely. maybe next time i will have the other truck out and we can play a bit more fairly. the sand pit was fun but i found myself a bit underpowered for what i wanted to do.

it was a long drive home, Rusty and I left Calabogy at 1 and arrived home at 9ish. but the cool thing was the fuel mileage. that ragtop just sips fuel, 1/2 tank took us wheeling and all the way home.

hope to see you all out wheeling again.
cheers M8s

to those that didn't make it, your loss... again.

Looks like thats a great place to wheel. I think its a great idea to make it a yearly event. And I'll be ready for next years run for sure!! If you guys are interested, we will be running the trails outside of Parry Sound the weekend of Aug 21-23. You're more than welcome to join us.
Dave

Yeah... sucks to be me. Looks like you guys had a blast - and the trails look great. As soon as I can figure out how to make my weekends 7 days long I'm all over every trail run!! I might not make it out to every run, but don't forget about me!

Wayne, I need one of those glove box tubs for my wifes 70! (which by the way, got a fair amount of new sheet metal on the weekend... and more to come!) Getting tired of drilling out spot rivits! (but I am putting the welds back in the same spots!)

I'm going to do some trail recon... hopefully I can find enough around here for a weekend...

I got my dougs tub from 4wheel auto iirc.

let me know when you find some wheeling around kingston -i'm not far from there. There are a few trails around lavant station and darling lake - about half way between ottawa and kingston.

louis

Hell no - sign me up for the next run in ardah - or whatever it is called. I was thinking of joining the UCLC's - no reason one can't belong to more than one club.

Louis - sorry - I'm used to just wayne having a 70! I just automatically figured it was his!

I'll check it out.

Perhaps we need to form a new club... LOCC'ERS

Lake Ontario Cruiser Clubs Enthusiasts Registry Sumthin'... :D

Or Maybe its:
Landcruiser Owners Club Collective Expedition Running Suckers

i agree with louis i enjoy wheeling with all you guys and put no restrictions on when where or with whom i wheel (as long as they have a landcruiser that is ). trying to convince my two daughters they want to go wheeling on the aug 22 run bit it looks like a tough sell .my weekend in the divorce and i am trying to give them the off road bug . already taught my thirteen yearold to drive the 60 and she likes to drive just does not like the audience .
hope to see you all on the trail soon .
good idea bruce we should think seriously about that i mean you have enough trucks to call yourself a club !!
oh and just for wayne
FOR SALE
common sense not currently in use found on trail in calabogie ( think it belonged to a jeep guy )pristine very little usage and tons of tread left for any landcruiser guy to boost the good stuff they already have !
best offer no reasonable offers refused !! think about that guy you know the one
