Hi Everyone!

I'm new here,... so not exactly sure where to post this question. I posted it above, in the Toyota Tech 40-55, forum, too.

I'm considering getting a small Air Top Maggiolina, as a RTT , on an FJ40.

I've read that Jonathan Hanson, from the Over Land Journal, is using a Maggiolina on his FJ40. However, I haven't been able to find his review of this setup.

I've spoken with Mike S, from AutoHome - And he's been extremely helpful.

Does anyone here use a Maggiolina RTT on their FJ40? I'd appreciate hearing any direct experience, or opinions &/or feedback re: such a setup.

TIA!

Cheers!

I have seen one at the bakersfield spring meet and greet. Not sure who owns it. It looks like fun. Good luck

Easily done. I have done two, Thule bicycle rack with flat adapters bolted thru the roofpanel, supports all weight just fine unless you are overstuffed in size, if no roof is on the LC you can adapt the same brackets to the rollbar and front window frame lower hinge, fab work is a necessity here. Listen to Mike he is good as well as knowledgeable. Jim

a roof top tent would prevent your tent from being peed on

ask GeoRoss, he knows :hillbilly:

How was the wind noise? How about the overhang in front? Finally, how much different/noticeable, was the handling of the vehicle?

Thanks again - I appreciate your help!
