One question--isn't the seat foam the same as any upholstered 80 seat as long as its not leather covered? Can't you get those from any vendor?

Dunno.....

Scored headrests from @zukinut

Little darker, so guessing a PO had professionally cleaned, at some point.

Thanks, Will!!

Having ridden in both cloth and leather equipped 80's and can say hands down I won't buy one unless it has cloth, soooo much nicer.

Agreed.

The seats make a huge difference in driver comfort, my only complaint the lack of an armrest, and if I could find new covers, I'd address by adding folding armrests to the seats.

I love my cloth!

No problems on the headrests. I know where the rest of the truck they came from is located......

Cloth brothers unite!!

I bought a whole set of cloth seats from Will.... They came wrapped in an 80. LOL!

Although it is really cool the truck didn't even come with provisions for the third row, having the third row could have gave you some spare fabric. One day I'll dig mine out of the attic to cannibalize some fabric to have the console lid covered to match.

I'd give a kidney for a front set of the brown tweed for my 92. I'm going to have to spring to have my third row covers hacked up to fix my front seats.

Poverty packages rule. No moonroof, no running boards, no power seats, no factory roof rack. No problems. I love my poverty rig! :)

Sweet rig. Can't wait to see it when done. Desert dune would be sweet.

And the sob wont sell them, or it, back to me.

Can't wait to see it when done.

Me, either.

Can't wait to see any of the current list even halfway done, but easier to be patient driving this 80.

It's something about doods named Chris that were born on a particular day in April.

They've a, damn near, psychotic attachment that very much resembles a woman's to get shoes.

Very addictive personalities, irrational thought processes and they hoard.

Removed DS seat heater (amp was under driver's side and got hot) and the last of three "systems" worth of wire.

Complete cobble-a-thon, with relays wired to relays, assuming for a second amp at some point in the past.

As cleaned up as I can get it.

Went ahead and installed the RF fronts with the grilles I can't stand, along with replacing the OE speaker harness.

Put the rear RFs in a while back with the LX grilles, this one sustaining damage in the roll.

All temporary, but at least I have decent tunes and have shed 100lbs of wire weight.

Completed the light housing replacement with the tag light. All are new along with grille.

Have broached this subject before, but will again, since needing to get the order committed.

There's obvious rake on an OE 80, as it's common on all Toyota's as the DS lean, although it's less common for folks to merely level 80s with spacers on OE coils, as interwebs searches have turned up nothing.

So, measured and visualized what I think is pretty close, at +1.5" for the front coils to lift, with OE rear coils, to level.

Sound right to anyone else?

FWIW After putting in a TJM 50mm spring kit my 80 sits just about perfectly level to my eye (others too). I also spacered the DS to get rid of the lean.

Congrats on the new 80.

Holy license plate light beam!!

Experiencing an odd phenomena, one that had me questions sanity for the better part of an hour.

It's snowing here and there's snow blowing out of the right side driver's vent.....

Hmmmm.....

Free arctic a/c ;)

I thought I was nuts until my son saw and felt it, too.

Other evidence that the fire wall has been dismantled, but can't see any obvious entry points for snow!

Betting your neighbors think hell hath frozen over.

God help anyone on a Texas road when it's clear, let alone with snow on it.

Had for awhile, but just unboxed

When I get something in the mail I instantly have to destroy the packaging and fondle it. The anxiety from not doing so would leave me institutionalized.
