17.5 for a low mile locked survivor isn't crazy to me. A tad on the high end but not insane. But I am kinda that guy so my opinion may not represent a large demographic.
 
I think 17.5 is kind of high. Is it stock, been modified? In my opinion, 13-14 would be an ok price for that. I would check the ih8mud classifieds for 80s and see what 80 series cruisers are going for these days.

For $17,500....I could use only $2350 and buy the '96 LX triple locked, good condition, Black Stallion that I did, use another $1450 for A/C part, springs, shocks, spacers and 295 Nitto TGs, and still be able to spend a week per year bowhunting elk for the next nine years. That's what I would do. 4 sure.
 
Is it the one on Craigs list in Phoenix Arizona, if it is, it's not a real 40TH Anv. model. Other than not being a 40TH Anv. it sure looks clean, as for paying 17 grand for it, that's WAY more than i would ever pay.

Hell no. 10-12 maybe. Unless it's been pmed to the absolute max that's a crazy price.
