Not a bad price, but you could probably get it cheaper. Maintenance records?

Fair price given the mileage and condition providing its a light color and from a non-rust area.
Location and color?

Depends on the specific truck, where it is located, etc. I personally would rather have one with higher miles and a known maintenance history, but people have been going crazy over low mileage rigs lately. IIRC there was one a few months ago with under 100k miles and the guy was having major issues with it. I think he tried to pass it off in the classifieds, got called out on it and then traded it in.

The location is san diego ca. The color is the tan ish . That one ur taking about s not in ca is it?

Doesn't matter how low the miles are - if the owner didn't change the oil, ran it hot, or neglected the other maintenance stuff, then you'll still need to baseline it since you have no history (and there could be hidden problems). I think 10k is high, but it's a dealer so that may be what you need to pay if you want the truck.

4 months of looking, countless pm's, 44 posts, 9 threads started and no cruiser. This is getting old to say the least. It appears as if you like talking about cruisers but are afraid to own one. Most people on this forum took an educated leap of faith. I suggest you do the same. Good Luck!

Well i started looking for one the same time i started learning about them. Sorry its getting old. I just dont want to buy a crappy one. I feel alot of u know alot more than me. So im just trying to get some input.

What model are you looking at now, LC or and LX? If it's an LX you can atleast check with lexus and see if/when maintenace was done by the dealer. Like everyone has said, maintenace history is more important than what the odometer says.

Also, Carfax is not a be all end all in my book. I have a vehicle that I wrecked twice and turned into insurance both times, and it doesn't show up on carfax.

Buying used vehicles is all about the chase, knowledge, smarts , a natural gut feeling-and about getting the best value possible(nego skills) NO where is it about buying sight unseen unless your an idiot or swimming in Benjamins or possibly all the above...
