It’s unfortunate that you didn’t get much attention on your post. Unfortunately, a lot of Land Cruiser “ aficionados” stigmatize the 70 Series Prado as “ not a real Land Cruiser”. I get the same from non-Prado Owners. But it’s just an opinion and like buttholes, most everyone has ‘em.
I’ a proud Prado Owner and I love what you’ve done to yours. I’m also on Okinawa and bought my 93 Prado SX Wide in December of 2018. I’m still on island and have done quite a bit on mine, the last being a full paint to bring it back to factory color of 6M1, Dark Emerald Pearl (green).
If you’re still on island, I work and live close to Kadena if you want to “talk Prado”. I don’t know everything about them but know some and want to know more.
