I picked up this 93' Hilux in trade for an FJ-55 recently. It is pretty neat and has some peculiarities as one might expect.

22RE 250K+ on it, smokes a bit but the deal included a ready to assemble RE turbo complete with rebuilt turbo

5-speed and single stock case but I am picking up dual cases complete on Sunday

4" lift springs, Bilsteins

Warn 9K on a decent tube bumper

ARB snorkel

bobbed bed 14"

Rock assault front housing with longs and hub gears

14 bolt full floater rear axle

39.5 Iroks

Decent hilux, perfect for the rocky rooty slick tight wooded trails in Kentucky and other east coast destinations.

It has a 6 lug front axle and 8 lug rear, that is strange :hhmm:

I had the alternator rebuilt and am having problems. Can anyone tell me how many wires I should have going to the post on the alt? My brother removed it and I am not sure. If I hook up the + wire from the post to the battery, the smaller gauge wire, and the white wire running to the connection at the driver side inner fender, I am getting smoke.... disconnect the white wire to the DS inner fender and it doesn't smoke but the charge light on the dash come one and obviously it is not charging the battery...more

Check out the pics and watch for updates on the dual cases and the turbo engine assembly and install
